Homework: Due Monday: Totems Assignment: Please go to the following website totems and read  “Native American Totems and Their Meanings”.  In the text, Edwin says “your totem is your story, your search and your past.  Everybody has their own”.   Cole begins to carve totems that represent lessons he learns from animals.  He first carves an eagle, which represents gaining a perspective- seeing everything in life differently from a distance.  Think of an animal that represents your story.  Either draw the totem or find an image on-line.   Write about the totem you chose and the lesson it holds for you. Post it on your blog and label it totems.
