  1. I think that this should be something that lives on with our country for generations to come so that everyone can remember that horrific day we know as 9/11!

  3. I think that the way people remember is their choose whether its posting picture on Facebook or writing about it on Twitter. People should be able to express their feeling when and what ever the cause is. I for myself think that even is you write or post the world will see it and the will remember of what happen 11 years ago on 9/11.

  4. I think that 9/11 is a day about remembering; remember the lives that were lost, and the memories we have of them. There is nothing our nation can do as a whole to make anything better. I think the situation has humbled our society a little to know that anything can happen and we should be lucky we have the life that we have.

  5. I think people should remember this day by visiting their lost one's grave stone, or lighting candles or however you remember someones death. But if people haven't lost a family member or friend, they shouldn't worry about it as much. It happened 11 years ago, and there's nothing you can really do about it. I think people can celebrate how they want, but in my opinion, I wouldn't go all out for it.

  6. I think people should remember this day by sticking together. 9/11 was a day that tested the United States. It was a day where we all that to work together to save peoples lives. I believe that even as hard as 9/11 might have been for some people we can get though it if we stay together as a country.

  7. i believe that the events that transpired on 9/11 should never be forgotten and that they should be commemorated and mourned, this however does not mean that we as a nation cannot be without joy on the anniversary of that fateful day. we as Americans can remember the horrors of that time and yet be able to appreciate what we have now and how we are able to live in freedom even more because of it.

  8. I think people should remember it by posting comments on social networks like they already do, and have people speak on national T.V. about how they reacted to it and where they were when it happened like the president, and other famous people.

  9. I think American's should keep doing what their doing with 9/11 with facebook, twitter, etc. Also I think New York should have a ceremony every year or something so nobody forgets what happened on 9/11.

  11. I think that people should remember this day like a holiday because lots of people died in the Twin Towers. Twin towers should never be forgotten because what Osama Bin Laden did was ruin New York City buildings that was very important to New York City. They should also maybe have a parade in New York with all the people that survived to cheer for them because those people should be awarded from the suffering that they went through that day.

  12. I think people should remember this day as a memorial for those who have fought and died over the past 11 years and for those who died in the towers also we should remember it as a reason why America is at war with terrorism.

  13. I think that American's should always remember 9/11. Whatever someones own way is, everyone should honor those lives that were lost. Our own school had a moment of silence for that day, reminding us that we are all a part of what happened. Some people post on social media sites and some wear the colors of our country. With technology, the ways of acknowledging the day have become different, but they still have the same effect.

  14. I think that people should always remember 9/11. It was a tragic day that caused thousands of innocent people to die. Some people think we should all just move on, but why should we? 9/11 was tragic to many people, and should never be forgotten.

  15. I think that 9/11 was a hard time for people and the memory will never be forgotten but moving on is a part of life and it is how we cope with what happened. I think that it will never be forgotten because it is a part of history. Also i think that people are not forgetting 9/11 it's just not as big as it was 4 or 5 years ago, stuff gets old.

  16. I think people should remember 9/11 by having a picture with the persons' name under it of all the people who died either by being in the plain, being in the building, or saving peoples' lives. There should be a ceremony every place that day and talk about the people in memory of them.

  17. I think that people remembering 9/11 should not be looked at as a sad thing. It's something that happened to us in the past and we will always remember it. It reminds me of what Hitler did but since it is not so recent, people do not think about it so much. 9/11 was a more recent event in our history so I think it will hit people harder now. I think it's good to remember the loved ones, not concentrate on hating the ones who did it. -Leisa

  19. I think people should remember this day by sticking together as a country and to all take a moment in silence for those who died on 9/11. Plus give a big thanks to all those firefighters and policemen who took a big risk to go in the buildings that the planes crashed into.

  20. I agree that people should remember this day as one of the most important days in history, and of course everyone should remember it with sadness and rage and so many other feelings, but I think we should also remember it with pride as well. We should take pride that the people on the plane that was headed for the White House, were brave enough to come up with a plan and stop the terrorists before they got there. We should take pride in all of the people who lost their lives trying to help all of the victims. We were all working as a country that day, and we should be proud of it. - Emily

  21. Remembering 9/11 is always going to be hard for the families that lost loved ones. America pulled through that day in so many ways. We should remember this day as the day that the United Sates was tested to see how strong we truly are and we proved that day that we are indeed a strong and brave country. -Audreanna
